Black Cedar (Pinus sibirica)

From cedar resin are prepared medicinal ointments (balms). The basis of ointments is the fat (fat): from chicken, goose, bear, badger. The ointment should be melted in a water bath. If you use vegetable oil, it should also be processed in a water bath. In a pot of water, with a plate or metal lid on the bottom, place a small saucepan with the fat cut into small pieces in it. The boiling of the water in the large pot heats up the pot with the ointment, so that gradually the ointment becomes liquid and is now sterile enough to be used for making the medicinal preparation. Pour the ointment into a jar, preferably a glass one, and after cooling it to 50-60 degrees mix with the powdered or soft liquid cedar resin. Make sure that the resin has dissolved evenly and is not lumpy at the bottom of the jar. But it is best to use mink, marmot, as it helps the healing substances penetrate deeper into the tissue cells.

Preparation of ointment based on cedar resin is indicated in the proposed recipes:

– Cedar resin for weight loss:

Cedar resin was considered the main remedy against obesity, it is dissolved in a water bath. Cedar sap (resin) was prepared from cedar resin, a liquid balm was obtained (usually 1 part resin to 3-4 parts oil base). When applied to the skin, it penetrated the subcutaneous tissue and caused the fat to burn rapidly. As a result, after such a bath women immediately lose 3-4 kg!

Cedar balm moisturizes and firms the skin, shapes the silhouette and removes roundness. Removes slag and toxins. The body itself begins to actively burn liquid fats. A month of such procedures, the weight decreases by 7-10 kg. In addition, these oil procedures have antiseptic properties, remove all inflammatory processes of the skin, strongly hydrate and tighten the skin, make it smooth and silky tender. Problem areas should be smeared only once every two days for 15 minutes.

– Cough – crush on the tip of a teaspoon and place on the tongue, then drink with tea – take until cough stops completely.

– Gastrointestinal tract – to 200 g of vodka 1 tablespoon of cedar resin, 1 tablespoon of honey, 1 tablespoon of melted fat from viscera (from bear, badger or marmot). Mix everything well, let stand a day in the dark. Take 1 teaspoon on an empty stomach until the pain stops.

– Sinusitis – cedar juice is diluted with vegetable oil in a ratio of 2:1. Soaked tampon to be applied at night, placed on the frontal sinus. The course of treatment is 14 days. The duration of the course depends on the severity of the disease.

– With inflammation of the middle ear (otitis) – dip a cotton swab in cedar juice and insert into the ear at night – until the complete cessation of secretion from the ear;

– For cervical erosion, endometriosis and uterine fibroids – use a swab soaked in cedar oil at night. The course of treatment is 10 days. If necessary, after 10 days, the treatment is repeated;

– For cervical erosion, take equal parts of cedar sap, oil and wax and make swabs with the mixture;

– With bronchitis, asthma, catarrh of the respiratory tract – inhalations. Used as a prophylactic against influenza;

– For bronchitis, pneumonia mix 50 g cedar resin, 50 g unsalted cow’s oil, 50 g honey, let stand for 4 days and take 3 teaspoons a day;

– For radiculitis, arthritis, rheumatoid arthritis, osteochondrosis, stretching, injuries, sprains, fractures – heat cedar resin in a steam bath, dilute with melted pork lard in a ratio of 1:1, stir, after bathing the sick places are rubbed;

– For osteochondrosis, radiculitis mix 50 grams of cedar resin, 50 grams of vodka, 50 grams of oil. The mixture stands for a week and then the sick place is smeared.

– With diseases of the joints helps ointment made from cedar oil, beeswax, bear and badger fat, olive oil (in equal parts). Everything should be mixed in a water bath with constant stirring until the mixture becomes smooth, then smear the sick place. Ointment should be used for compresses (they are made during the day, kept during the day). The course of treatment is 3 weeks, after which a break of one week should be made, then repeat the course.

– In diseases of the lung, stomach, gallstones:

(a) ½ tsp cedar resin dissolved in a glass of boiled milk, drink 2 times a day 20 minutes before meals;

b) Mix cedar resin with fat (from the entrails of bear, badger, marmot, dog, in extreme cases, lard or cow’s oil) and honey in a 1:1:1 ratio. Heat on a covered fire or in a steam bath to 60 °C. Drink a teaspoonful in a cup of hot tea or boiled milk 2 times a day 20 minutes before meals.

– For stomach and duodenal ulcers and heartburn, drop 3-4 drops on a piece of bread before meals.

– Stomach ulcer. In the morning, half an hour before a meal, for 8-10 minutes hold a small piece (the size of a pea) of cedar gum under the tongue. The course of treatment is from three weeks to six weeks.

– For acne – cedar resin is diluted with vegetable oil in a ratio of 2:1, applied to the site for 4 hours. In the morning it is cleaned.

– Any wounds, abrasions, boils, burns, psoriasis – apply cedar juice to a gauze pad, apply to the wound, change the dressing 2 times a day, pre-treat the wound with your urine. And for abrasions, place cedar resin on the sore spot. Relief is felt immediately, and after 2-3 days the abrasion wound completely disappears. For chronic wounds, boils, non-healing wounds mix 100 grams of cedar resin, 100 grams of fat, 100 grams of wax and make compresses.

– With abrasions, skin cracks, wet eczema, a piece of resin should be taken and mashed with the fingers continuously, mixed with saliva until a very soft consistency is obtained. Then a paw should be quickly made and placed on the sore spot, bandaged for 2-3 days. The procedure can be repeated several times. Wounds are cleaned and heal quickly.

Also for boils, you can make a compress with the resin. Wet the bandage with cedar resin, put on the boil, cover the top with compress paper and fix with a bandage for 20-30 minutes. If this is done in the early stages of inflammation, one procedure is enough for the treatment.

– For trophic ulcers and gangrene, smear the bandage with cedar juice and insert it into the ulcer as deeply as possible. The course of treatment is until full recovery.

– In venous ulcers and wounds from congestion. Apply ointment of cedar sap and lard.

– With blisters on the feet – thoroughly irrigate the feet, apply cedar juice on a gauze pad, place it on the calluses and stick with a light plaster. Do the compress every day until the calluses disappear.

– Problems often arise in connection with dry calluses and cracked soles of the feet. The best prescription is when cedar sap is put on the sore soles of the feet at night and the top secured with a light plaster.

– Hemorrhoids – cedar juice is dripped on a waffle towel (in the bath), held over a basin of boiling water for 2-3 minutes, then wrap the buttocks so that the resin fell fell into the anus, and lather in a sauna.

– Once upon a time in Siberia they treated toothache with cedar resin by applying it to the gum of the tooth. It is sometimes used by some strange ways to treat teeth. There was a tradition that if a man touched his teeth to cedar resin which oozed from the tree, he would be cured of diseases of the teeth and gums and of toothache.

– For periodontitis, mix 3 teaspoons of salt, 1 teaspoon of cedar sap (resin), add olive oil or castor oil until a uniform consistency is obtained, rub into the gums 2-3 times a day.

– Tuberculosis – make a mixture of cedar resin (resin) 50 grams, 100 g of honey, fat from badger, bear, preferably dog fat (also 100 g). Take a teaspoonful.

– With atrial arrhythmia, angina pectoris in a teaspoon of vegetable oil add 5 drops of cedar resin and rub into the heart area.

– With mastopathy, mix100 g vegetable oil, 20 g cedar resin. Heat in a water bath and make compresses.

– If it is necessary to treat skin diseases – eczema, boils, burns, frostbite, purulent wounds, the necessary ratio is 1: 3, that is, one part is fat – three parts cedar resin.

– In cataracts. Dilute cedar sap (1: 4), sea buckthorn oil and drip a maximum of 2 months in the patient’s eye 1 drop 1 time a day.

– For purulent wounds and ulcers on the skin, apply the following ointment of crushed cedar resin. Mix an equal amount of cedar resin, yellow wax, sunflower or sesame oil, melt the mixture on fire (heat not more than 60°C), use after cooling in the form of ointments or patches.

– In the treatment of internal diseases associated with the impact of mucous membranes – larynx and tonsils with angina, stomatitis, gingivitis, oral, gastric and duodenal ulcers, genital diseases – a swab with cedar resin is used, prepared in a ratio of 1: 2 that is, one part fat and 2 parts cedar resin. Can be weighed or use spoons, cups, beakers as a measure.

– Natural cedar resin is useful to chew inflammatory diseases of the mouth, teeth and gums.

– Is there a cold sore on the lip? Apply a swab soaked in a 1:1 mixture of cedar resin and cedar oil.

– To avoid herpetic sores on the lips, place a cotton swab soaked in a mixture of cedar gum and vegetable oil (1:2) on the thickened lip for 25 minutes. If the itching and cold sores do not disappear within 3-4 hours, repeat the treatment.

– For chapped lips, smear them with cedar resin ointment.

– To prevent colds, it is enough to suck cedar gum 1/3 teaspoon 1 time a day after meals. The same method can help cure angina for 2-3 days.

– Always have cedar oil on hand so you don’t get surprised by a flu epidemic.

Don’t wait until you get a runny nose, sneezing, headache, fever, but as soon as the first sign of the flu starting, take measures to prevent the infection from getting worse. Put drops of cedar resin in the nose, larynx, rub more often (every 2-3 hours) the nostrils of the nose, make inhalations with herbs and a few drops of cedar resin or add pine tips to the decoction.

– Sometimes the wound from the cut hand does not heal for a long time.

Mix fresh cedar resin with oil of sea buckthorn (sea buckthorn) in a ratio of 2: 1, leave the mixture on a slow fire for 2-3 minutes (at a temperature not higher than 60 ° C), cool. Lubricate the wound two or three times a day until complete healing. Store the ointment for six months, in a cool place in tightly closed bottles.

– Fractures. Place in an enamelled saucepan a large onion, grated on a grater, 4 tablespoonfuls of olive oil, a tablespoonful each of powdered copper sulphate, fir resin, stir well and boil over a low fire. Allow the mixture to boil (but not boil!), then cool.

Ointment is applied in the form of a compress to the site of the fracture – healing will be twice as fast.
